The Open University’s Dr Edward Wastnidge and Dr William Brown worked as academic consultants on the series. They’ll present their contribution to this production and talk about the privileged access the series had to the fascinating world of British diplomats.

We’ll then move to a panel discussion where our OU presenters will be joined by:

• Tom Cargill - Executive Director, British Foreign Policy Group
• Liane Saunders - Strategy Director and Strategic Programmes Coordinator, Foreign and Commonwealth Office
• James Vaughan - Director for Undergraduate Studies, International Politics, Aberystwyth University

The panel will take a critical look at foreign policy issues that came out of the BBC series including local, national and international standpoints.  If you can’t make it why not head over to our Facebook page on the day where we will be live!

Tickets are free, but booking is essential:  https://insidetheforeignoffice.eventbrite.co.uk

Doors will open at 6pm, where there will be a reception with light refreshments before the lecture starts at 6:30pm.
