Information for students

We want you to succeed in your studies with the OU and reach your potential. We know that distance learning is a great way to combine education with work and family commitments, but we don’t want you to feel that you’re by yourself.

We have a dedicated team of people in our Cardiff office who are just a phone call or an email away. They can give you advice on studying, discuss any problems you have with your course, or give you some options if your personal circumstances have changed. They know all about student funding and how it works in Wales.

Take a look at Kyle’s story at the top of this page to meet him and the team.

You can contact them on 029 2047 1170 or wales-support@open.ac.uk.

Join our family online

We have Facebook and Twitter pages dedicated to The Open University in Wales. Here you can find out about our work and join in the conversation with other students across Wales.

You can also send questions to our student support team on here.

We always want to hear about your course and how you’re getting on, so why not tag us in a post today?

You can also sign up to our e-mailing list.
