An Open University in Wales student has been Highly Commended in the national Inspire! Awards, showing resilience and determination to pursue his studies and land a job at a local high school.

The OU Faculty of STEM is celebrating the inauguration of its remotely-controlled robotic telescopes, which will bring astronomy and space science to life for students whenever and wherever they are in the world.

The Open University in Wales and Wales TUC Cymru are celebrating ten years of working together to widen access to education in the workplace. Over 1500 learners have directly benefited from learning opportunities through the partnership since 2007 and hundreds more have been offered information, advice and guidance.
