OpenLearn Champions

OpenLearn Champions bring The Open University’s free Open Educational Resources to communities right across Wales

Since its launch in 2012, the OpenLearn Champions project has equipped a network of people – from librarians to Communities First staff to union learning reps – with the knowledge and skills to use the OU’s free learning resources to help learners in their communities. Champions use resources such as ‘OpenLearn’ and ‘OpenLearn Cymru’ with learners and for their own professional development.OpenLearn Champions

Would you like us to run a training session for your team?

We can adapt the OpenLearn Champion training session to the needs of your team and arrange to come to your workplace and run a free training session. We are happy to work directly with Communities First clusters, training and education providers, libraries, voluntary and community organisations, and local authorities.

We can tailor our ‘train the trainers’ session to your needs, identify free courses relevant for your sector and give your team the skills and confidence to use new resources with their learners and customers.
