Social Media for Business Workshop for Young Entrepreneurs

21 September, 10.00 – 12.00, Cardiff. The workshop is aimed at young entrepreneurs who want to improve their business pitching skills and will offer top tips on how to develop and present your business pitch with confidence.

Free Young Entrepreneur Business Kick Starter Event
A 2 day workshop aimed at helping those aged 18-24 kick-start their business idea(s).  The event will be held in Swansea’s University of Wales Swansea Trinity St David’s Townhill Campus on 24 and 25 October. More information can be found here.

Now open: The OU Student Entrepreneurship Competition 
This competition for cash prizes to help fund the development of a business idea is open to current postgraduate and undergraduate students, and those graduated within the previous two years.  To register for the competition, email or confirming your full name and Personal Identifier number.  You will receive further details including the full terms and conditions.

Business Confessions adventures in business podcast

UnLtd is an organisation dedicated exclusively to helping support those people who want to become social entrepreneurs. Support includes grants such as the Unltd Wales Rural Award.

HMRC’s site is rich with information and support on all sorts of legislative aspects of business start-up  including free online resources and workshops.
