All modern web browsers have additional accessibility features in order to allow them to cater for specific needs of the user. Below is a brief guide to the features, with links to external sites that will provide you with further information.

Internet Explorer (IE)

Internet Explorer is fully integrated with the Windows operating system. Windows offers a number of features to make using a computer easier for users with visual impairments, hearing impairments, mobility impairments and learning impairments.

Microsoft has an assistive technology catalogue where you can buy useful items such as screen enlargers, screen readers, talking word processors and touch screens.

Internet Explorer has some options that make certain aspects of internet browsing easier. These include using the keyboard instead of the mouse to navigate web pages.
