To be able to edit the wiki, including setting up a new page, you will need to log in or create an account. To create an account click on the "log in/create an account" link at the top right-hand corner of this page and follow the instructions, it only takes a minute.
Before you start, a very useful tip: please remember to save your work as you go along by clicking on the "Save page" button at the bottom left of the editing screen. Also it will be useful to have a back to the main page link at the top of of your personal page to aid navigation, please copy and paste the following into single square brackets http://www.open.ac.uk/wikis/iet/MAODE:Main_Page (see the section on adding a url below)
To create your own page on the MAODE Celebration home page: start on the Celebration wiki Main Page, click on the edit tab at the top of the page, then type the title of your page inside double square brackets (you can create another page within your own page if you wish to). Please give your Main Page title your own name, this will not only show at a glance who has contributed to the wiki but will act as a contents list.
To add text or make changes to your own page: click on the "edit" tab at the top of the page, or click on the "edit" links at the right-hand side of the page to edit a particular section.
To change a page title: click on the "move" tab at the top of the page, input the new page title as directed and then click on the "move page" button and your new page will be "redirected" (it does work!)
