Patrick McAndrew received confirmation of his successful bid to the Next Generation Learning Challenges entitled 'Bridge to Success'.
Grainne Conole and Anne Adams received confirmation of their successes in applying to the STELLAR Theme Team awards. Anne's bid (MuSuCoL) was led by Saarland University, and Grainne's bid was led by the Institute of Education. Both awards are for travel costs only.
External Engagement (including seminars, talks and workshops)
IET had a substantial presence at the Computer Assisted Learning conference (CAL 2011) on Learning Futures in Manchester, including papers by: Canan Blake, Gill Clough, Doug Clow, Grainne Conole, Rebecca Ferguson, Ann Jones, Chris Jones, Agnes Kukulska-Hulme, Eileen Scanlon and Denise Whitelock.
Agnes Kukulska-Hulme delivered a workshop on Mobile Learning at the OU Regional Conference for Associate Lecturers in Manchester on 2 April 2011.
Patrick McAndrew met with Dietmar Braun, Manager of the E-Learning Division of the World Bank Institute during his visit 17-18 April 2011.
