Open University Orchestra

The OU Orchestra is an amateur orchestra, based at the Open University, Milton Keynes,MK76AA conducted by Catherine Rose and Dennis Pim. It is a symphony orchestra with about 60 regularly rehearsing players. Rehearsals are mainly on Friday lunchtimes. The orchestra gives two concerts and two schools concerts a year (all on Friday lunchtimes) and participates in the OU Carol concert. Staff, students and people living or working nearby who can attend rehearsals are welcome to join us (see vacancies). We play a broad range of symphonic and other music.

Next Orchestra Concert

Friday 26 October 2018 1-2 pm in the Hub Theatre at The Open University, MK76AA.

The OU Orchestra plays music from the opera, ncluding Delibes - Flower duet, Bizet- Habanera, Humperdinck - Hansel and Gretel prelude, Borodin - Polovtsian Dances.

Admission is free, and all are welcome.
