Open University Orchestra
The OU Orchestra is an amateur orchestra, based at the Open University, Milton Keynes,MK76AA conducted by Catherine Rose and Dennis Pim. It is a symphony orchestra with about 60 regularly rehearsing players. Rehearsals are mainly on Friday lunchtimes. The orchestra gives two concerts and two schools concerts a year (all on Friday lunchtimes) and participates in the OU Carol concert. See the Orchestra vacancies tab for current vacancies. Staff, students and people living or working nearby who can attend rehearsals are welcome to join us (see vacancies). We play a broad range of symphonic and other music.

The programme for this special Gala Anniversary event will include the OU fanfare by Leonard Salzedo, the Percussion Concerto by Jennifer Higdon, the English Suite No. 2 by Malcolm Arnold and Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky orchestrated by Ravel.
Tickets will be available to purchase via The Venue - prices and ordering information will be available at end January.There is good car parking at The Venue.
