We have vacancies for the following:

Strings
- First violin players
- Viola players
We may be able to take additional string players who are able to make regular rehearsals.
Woodwind
Oboist - ideally should be at least Grade 8 standard
Brass
One trumpet player - ideally should be at least Grade 8 standard
Percussion
- Possible occasional vacancies - please get in touch
We have waiting lists for most woodwind and brass, but please still get in contact.
We expect a minimum standard of Grade 5 for strings, Grade 6 for woodwind and brass.
Rehearsals are usually Friday lunchtimes, with a couple of evening rehearsals near concerts, and two Sunday afternoon rehearsals a year. We give concerts in May and October on Friday lunchtimes.

There is a small membership fee per year - around £15 for the year.
