Going into Laurence's page for the orchestra general info is too much and too cluttered. I haven't deleted it, but it would be better to have a really short intro there, who we are, when we rehearse, who can play with us. They can delve further for all the detail.
Really the orchestra website needs a bit of reorganising as well I think (sorry Laurence) --Tessa

I just clicked on the prefences tab and didn't understand a word of it! It is a little perturbing - does it mean anything.
Also, a while ago I tried to load a photo, which apparently was too large, but the photo seems to be there somehow, but not where I thought I was going to put it. Could you explain?

I think it is a two stage process. First you have to upload your photo, then you have to put it where you want.
You can see all the uploaded images at Special:Imagelist.
I think that image size thing is just a warning, if it thinks the image you uploaded is too big. So it is advice, not an error.
