We've listed below a number of links to ideas and technologies used both by colleagues within the Sussex Learning Network and beyond. Our purpose is to draw attention to practice, innovation and areas which might be problematic. The links are interactive and we would welcome comments, suggestions and updates.

wikis and blogs	This page provides links giving an overview of the ways in which wikis and blogs are being used in education.
VLEs	Virtual learning environments - what are they? What can they do?
Social networking	A growing area and one which some commentators feel might overtake the use of formal VLEs.

Mapping on the web	A collaborative collection of web-based maps mapping different issues. This is part of a digital journalism course at Stanford University
