Project: TESSA (Teacher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa)

Description: A 24-hour on-line course focused on practical approaches to support teaching of early literacy.

Audience: Anyone with an interest in how children learn to read including Community Educators, Teachers, Student Teachers, Teaching Assistants and School Volunteers.

Project: IGATE - Zimbabwe (Improving Gender Attitudes, Transition and Education Outcomes)

Description: 7 modules of activities and resources to support the teaching of foundational numeracy and Literacy for learners for all ages, modules for primary and adapted for secondary schools.  Modules adopt learner centered and participatory activities. 

Audience: Teachers.

 

Project: SAGE - Zimbabwe (Supporting Adolescent Girls’ Education)

Description: 6 accelerated teaching and learning modules on literacy and numeracy activities for non-formal education. Includes short unit stories in three Zimbabwean languages. 

Available Languages : Kalanga, Shona and Nebele.

Audience:  Community Educators.
