University Centre Quayside

University Centre Quayside (UCQ) is an independent provider of further and higher education with many years’ experience in delivering work-based learning provision. UCQ is focused on supporting employees and their employers to drive improvements in the performance of their organisations and the wider business sector. Specifically, UCQ deliver the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, which incorporates the BA (Hons) in Professional Management. UCQ combine academic rigour with real world business know-how, and the UCQ approach to helping improve business results is centred around developing the leadership and management capabilities of both current and future managers.

UCQ provides degree apprenticeships throughout England, with professional learning centres located in the six largest metropolitan areas, from Newcastle to London. UCQ offer flexible solutions to taught sessions, and off-the-job learning, blended programme delivery and live webinars, to create programmes which truly meet the needs of our clients. 

The UCQ CMDA is ideal for existing managers or for employees that are stepping up or across to their first management role. The programme has been specifically developed and is delivered by work-based learning specialists. These specialists understand the realities of business from their extensive industry experience, gained working “at the coal face” of management.
