Our vision

HEAT’s ambition is to reach and train healthcare workers across sub-Saharan Africa, providing them with the quality training that they need, where they need it.

Following on from the launch in Ethiopia, we are now in discussions with Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Southern Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.

We will work alongside these country Governments to ensure that HEAT is sustainable wherever it is wanted and needed – for policy makers, for the programme trainers, and for the students receiving the HEAT training. 

But the healthcare worker crisis is not limited to sub-Saharan Africa. We are already talking with organisations in Afghanistan, India, Pakistan and South America.
