Dimitra L. Milioni

Dimitra L. Milioni is Assistant Professor in Media Studies at the Department of Communication and Internet Studies, Cyprus University of Technology. She holds a PhD in Internet  and Democracy from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research focuses on the impact of new media on democracy and the public sphere, with emphasis on alternative and participatory media, audience participation, e-deliberation, citizenship and new media, social movements and protest politics.
