Started in 1998 the end of <em>Society Matters<\/em> in this format signals a broader move across the OU towards electronic communication. Indeed a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/socialsciences\/about-the-faculty\/society-matters\/society-matters-extra.php\" >Society Matters Extra<\/a>\u00a0page of online material has been around for a few years.
