For more details see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/History-of-the-OU\/?page_id=361\" >here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There will be\u00a0three plenary sessions \u2013 Open to people and places; Open to methods; and Open to ideas \u2013 reflecting the University\u2019s mission, as set out by Lord Crowther in 1969.<\/p>\n<p>Subjects to be addressed include the development of technology and pedagogy, the success of the University in widening participation and the role of the BBC.
