John Bird Lecture, Cardiff 6 December

On Tuesday 6 December, Music Department lecturer Dr Ben Winters will be giving the John Bird lecture at Cardiff University’s School of Music: ‘Viewed from the Podium: Concert Scenes and Film Narrative’ . It is open to the public and takes place at 4.30pm in the Large Lecture Theatre.

    Such a shame I missed that lecture – just noticed the link has details for up coming lectures – will defiantly be attending some, they look really interesting, especially the ‘Has Period Performance Become an Irrelevance?’ I play bassoon and this question has quite an often occurrence!
