Elaine Moohan, currently working on The Complete Works of Robert Johnson (due for publication in April 2018), delivered a session in conversation with Rebecca Tavener at the annual convention of the Association of British Choral Directors, Saturday 26th August 2017. Rebecca provided some background to Johnson’s life and works and interviewed Elaine on her approach to the edition and experience of working with the manuscript sources. The talk was illustrated with facsimiles from some of these manuscripts and ended with those attending singing through Part 1 of ‘O eternal God’.
