New book: Eurojazzland

Eurojazzland: Jazz and European Sources, Dynamics and Contexts (edited by Luca Cerchiari, Laurent Cugny and Franz Kerschbaumer) has just been published by Northeastern University Press. The book includes a chapter by Catherine Tackley on the multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger Benny Carter, who was resident in Britain during the 1930s.
