Dr Borgstrom considers seven essentials to bear in mind when supporting someone who is dying.\u00a0They are\u00a0adapted from the Government publication\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/attachment_data\/file\/323188\/One_chance_to_get_it_right.pdf\">Five Priorities for Care of the Dying Person<\/a>\u00a0to recognise the valuable work nurses do when supporting someone at the end of their life.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ounews.co\/education-languages-health\/health\/death-and-dying\/\">The complex issues of death and dying<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The only certainty in life is death. Visiting Academic in Health and Social Care, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/people\/ck3\">Dr Carol Komaromy<\/a>, researched the complex issues of death and dying, covering topics like the place of grief in society and how people cope with death depending on their gender or profession.
