For nearly 10 years, The Open University and the BBC have been bringing Evan Davis and his panel of experts on\u202f<\/span>The Bottom Line<\/span><\/a>\u202finto your living room\u202fto share their insights on a range of subjects facing businesses.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The radio series will air weekly on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds on Thursdays at 8.30pm from 18 January to 7 March 2024.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The new series offers a valuable opportunity to hear expert advice on a range of emerging issues and will use the faculty of Business and Law\u2019s research and expertise to inform public debate. <\/span><\/p>\n

Over eight episodes, the programmes will explore topics affecting UK businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Professor Cinzia Priola<\/span><\/a>, Professor of Work and Organisation Studies, and <\/span>Dr Oznur Yurt<\/span><\/a>, Senior Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain, have been supporting the series as academic consultants. <\/span>They said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are pleased to be involved in this collaboration as it provides an opportunity to reach a wider OU audience and stakeholders. The overarching theme of the OU’s supporting content for this series is around sustainability and looking at what sustains a sustainable business.\u201d \u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Cinzia\u2019s research explores intersections between people, work and society in relation to inclusion, diversity, equality and entrepreneurship, as well as employee branding.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Oznur\u2019s research interests lie at the intersection of supply chain management and business-to-business marketing, encompassing service supply chains, supply chain sustainability and resilience, buyer-supplier relations and food supply chains.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This series was commissioned by <\/span>Broadcast and Partnerships<\/span><\/a> and is supported by the Faculty of Business and Law<\/span>,<\/span><\/i> with particular relevance to <\/span>Q91 BA (Honours) Business Management<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>F64 Master of Laws (LLM)<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>F61 MBA (Master of Business Administration)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
