{"id":25272,"date":"2024-06-10T15:20:26","date_gmt":"2024-06-10T14:20:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ounews.co\/?p=25272"},"modified":"2024-06-10T15:20:26","modified_gmt":"2024-06-10T14:20:26","slug":"open-university-academics-visit-westminster-to-share-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/news\/arts-social-sciences\/open-university-academics-visit-westminster-to-share-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Open University academics visit Westminster to share research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A team of academics from The Open University visited the Houses of Parliament recently to showcase their research to decisionmakers and fellow academics to help inform \u00a0policy development.<\/p>\n<p>On the guest list included Members of Parliament, Members of the House of Lords, as well as others in academic institutions to hear about the research projects \u2013 part of the OU\u2019s Global Challenges and Social Justice Research Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Some research projects are part of the OU\u2019s Open Societal Challenges Programme.
