{"id":25872,"date":"2024-10-15T09:04:25","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T08:04:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ounews.co\/?p=25872"},"modified":"2024-10-15T09:04:25","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T08:04:25","slug":"new-ou-bbc-radio-series-inside-health-for-bbc-radio-four","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/news\/around-ou\/tv-radio\/new-ou-bbc-radio-series-inside-health-for-bbc-radio-four\/","title":{"rendered":"New OU\/BBC Radio Series Inside Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A brand-new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/\">OU<\/a>\/BBC radio series <strong>Inside Health<\/strong> starts on Tuesday 15<sup>th<\/sup> October at 09:30 on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds.<\/p>\n<p>The six-part series will give listeners a better understanding of various health issues, distinguishing fact from fiction and bringing clarity to conflicting health advice.<\/p>\n<p>The Open University academic consultants on the series, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/people\/pw6872\">Senior Lecturer in Health, Dr Philippa Waterhouse<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/people\/rg7725\">Associate Head of Nursing and Health Professions, Dr Rebecca Garcia, said.<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe have been working with the Inside Health production team from the BBC. The series will demystify fact from fiction around commonly held health beliefs and explore and discuss topical health matters.
