{"id":26624,"date":"2025-01-14T14:38:01","date_gmt":"2025-01-14T14:38:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/news\/?p=26624"},"modified":"2025-01-14T14:38:01","modified_gmt":"2025-01-14T14:38:01","slug":"new-series-of-inside-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/news\/education-languages-health\/health\/new-series-of-inside-health\/","title":{"rendered":"New series of Inside Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new fourteen-part OU\/BBC radio series of <strong>Inside Health<\/strong> starts today, Tuesday 14 January, and runs weekly on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds.<\/p>\n<p>The series airs at 9.30am each week and will explore a wide variety of health-related topics to bring clarity to conflicting health advice and separate fact from fiction<\/p>\n<p>There will be interviews with leading health professionals and scientists and first-hand accounts from people directly affected by the issues being examined.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/people\/rg7725\">Dr Rebecca Garcia, Associate Head of School for Nursing and Health Professions<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/people\/pw6872\">Dr Philippa Waterhouse, Senior Lecturer in Health at The Open University<\/a> were the academic consultants on the series.
