Partnering with Anatolia allows us to bring our academic excellence and innovation to Greece, supporting a new model of international education that addresses the challenges of the 21st century and opens doors for students across Europe and beyond.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The founding of Anatolia American University aligns with Greece\u2019s national strategy to become a global education hub. It aims to attract international students, retain domestic talent, and repatriate Greek academics, while contributing to regional economic development through investment in human capital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a name=\"_Hlk208303114\"><\/a>The OU is the largest academic institution in the UK and a world leader in flexible distance learning. \u00a0It has decades of expertise in distance learning, flexible education, and research-led teaching.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">This partnership builds on a shared vision with Anatolia to deliver rigorous academic programmes enriched with 21st-century skills and global perspectives. <b>Academic Offerings and Vision<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Anatolia American University will offer English-language, state-recognised degree programmes across three academic schools:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top: 0cm;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>School of Business Administration<\/b>: Business Administration, Entrepreneurial Management, International Business and Finance, Marketing, and Tourism.<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>School of Humanities and Social Sciences<\/b>: English, Political Science and International Relations, and Psychology.<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>School of Science and Technology<\/b>: Business Computing, Computer Science, and Biological Sciences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The university\u2019s recruitment strategy will focus on:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"margin-top: 0cm;\" start=\"1\" type=\"1\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Greek students seeking an international academic experience.<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">International students pursuing globally recognised degrees in Greece.<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Visiting students from partner universities, particularly in the US and Europe.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>Commitment to Access and Inclusion<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Remaining true to its social mission, Anatolia\u2014supported by The Open University\u2014will continue to prioritise access to education for students with limited financial means. Currently, 30% of Anatolia\u2019s student body receives scholarships or financial aid, with plans to expand this support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>Infrastructure and Growth<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Anatolia has finalised its Campus Master Plan, which includes the construction of four new buildings, with the first scheduled for completion by 2027.
