There are a number of 20minute slots available on the following dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Monday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> November: <\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ethics &amp; TEL Themed <\/span>(AM only)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Tuesday 10<sup>th<\/sup> November: <\/strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">TEL Themed<\/span> (AM &amp; PM)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Wednesday 11<sup>th<\/sup> November: <\/strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">TEL Themed<\/span> (AM only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Call for Contributions: <\/u><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><u>Ethics and Technology Enhanced Learning <\/u><\/span><u>(Monday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> November)<\/u><\/p>\n<p>openTEL\u2019s November Show &amp; TEL event will start with a workshop focusing on ethics and technology enhanced learning (TEL). The workshop will be an opportunity for an open discussion on ethics in TEL and will begin with an update on an ongoing project on the topic. The project update will be followed by a series of short presentations. The workshop will conclude with time set aside for open discussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you would like to deliver one of the short presentations, then please send a short description of the topic to <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:opentel@open.ac.uk\"><strong>opentel<\/strong><\/a><strong>. We invite contributions on any of the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A specific TEL-related ethical situations that the presenter has found themselves in. This could be from the perspective of a student, a lecturer, a learning designer or something else<\/li>\n<li>The ethics of a specific area of TEL<\/li>\n<li>The philosophical underpinnings of ethics in TEL<\/li>\n<li>Ethics and TEL research<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Call for Contributions: <\/u><\/strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><u>Technology Enhanced Learning <\/u><\/span><u>(10<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 11<sup>th<\/sup>November)<\/u><\/p>\n<p>We also welcome contributions which are TEL related for the above dates. Show &amp; TEL is the perfect opportunity to showcase your ideas and network with people from across the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) community. More information about our past Show &amp; TEL events can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/opentel\/show-and-tel\/about\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Save the Date: <\/u><\/strong><u>External Speaker (17<sup>th<\/sup> November 15:00 \u2013 16:00)<\/u><\/p>\n<p>We are concluding Show &amp; TEL with an external speaker for the 17<sup>th<\/sup> November and ask that you save the date in your diaries if you can.
