We are pleased to announce a Day School for Undergraduate Philosophy students at the Open University, <\/span><\/span>on Tuesday 22<\/span>nd<\/span><\/sup> March 2016 in the Berrill Building at the Open University Campus in Milton Keynes, from 10.00 am – 4.30 pm.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The event is\u00a0open, and free, to anyone currently enrolled on our\u00a0core philosophy undergraduate modules (A222 or A333). We\u00a0expect to accommodate everyone who wishes to come, but an upper limit, defined by the\u00a0venue\u2019s capacity, means we must monitor numbers.\u00a0Therefore, if you\u00a0intend to come, please register by <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>sending an email with ‘Attending’ in the message header of an email and sending it to: arts-philosophy-events@open.ac.uk<\/span><\/a>, with your name in the body of the message.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is just an early announcement of the date. The programme is still fluid. To find the latest, see the stable\u00a0Philosophy Day School 2016<\/a> site. We can say now that\u00a0<\/span><\/span>day will most likely be organized mainly around\u00a0sessions and lectures led by team members of the Philosophy Department and guest philosophers. We also plan\u00a0to feature much of the day\u2019s material, or complementary versions of it, to students via the OU Virtual Learning Environment and provide a discussion forum to follow the event. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
