The title of her talk is \u2018History, chemistry and knowledge\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>She is also talking at the annual conference of the <a href=\"http:\/\/bshp2017.weebly.com\/\" onclick=\"javascript:urchinTracker ('\/outbound\/article\/bshp2017.weebly.com');\">British Society for the History of Philosophy<\/a> (University of Sheffield, 6-8 April 2017), contributing a paper called \u2018Philosophy and history of science: H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Metzger on anachronism\u2019 as part of the panel that she organised on \u2018History, philosophy and science in French epistemology\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>In March she\u2019ll be giving a graduate seminar at the University of Milan, as she has recently done at the Universities of Cambridge and of Paris I (Sorbonne).<\/p>\n<p>The second edition of the Blackwell Encyclopedia of Sociology, for which she has written a new entry \u2018Bachelard, Gaston\u2019, is now on-line. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/people\/cc863\" >Her OU page<\/a> has more on her research and publications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cristina Chimisso will be a keynote speaker at the conference on \u2018Bachelard today: Bachelard and contemporary philosophy\u2019 at Leuven University (Belgium), 24-25 April 2017 .
