We draw on a wide range of research methodologies, including anthropology, childhood studies, cultural studies, developmental psychology, ethnography and sociology.<\/p>\n<p>Our partners include schools,\u00a0 academic groups,\u00a0 technology companies, practitioners and other users of research, including governments and NGOs in the UK, Europe and across the globe.<\/p>\n<pre><em><strong>Our current projects are:<\/strong><\/em><\/pre>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/rumpus\/index.php\/projects\/dancing-fun-childrens-views-of-embodied-learning-experiences\/\" >Dance-Educates-Fun<\/a>:<\/strong> The role of fun in embodied learning through cross-curricular dance\/movement in the UK &#8211; led by\u00a0<i>Mimi Tatlow-Golden, Linda Plowright-Pepper<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/rumpus\/index.php\/projects\/fun-fm\/\" >FM.fun<\/a>:<\/strong> Constructions and applications of fun in Classic FM\u2019s online music education resources in the UK &#8211; led by\u00a0<i>Emily Dowdeswell, Kieron Sheehy, Mimi Tatlow-Golden<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/rumpus\/index.php\/fun-big-books-inclusion-and-successful-kindergartens\/\" >Fun, Big Books<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Inclusion and successful kindergartens\u00a0 led by\u00a0<i>Kieron Sheehy<\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/rumpus\/index.php\/projects\/connect\/\" ><strong>CONNECT<\/strong><\/a>:\u00a0\u00a0students and scientists with Participatory fun in science education across the world. <i>EC <\/i><i>funded<\/i>\u00a0project led by\u00a0<i>Alexandra\u00a0<\/i><i>Okada<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/rumpus\/index.php\/projects\/olaf\/\" >OLAF<\/a>:\u00a0<\/strong> Online learning and fun to enhance students&#8217; access, retention, attainment, progress\u00a0across the world.
