From improved wellbeing to enhanced engagement, nature-based learning has been shown to support a wide range of educational outcomes. But one group is typically left out of research in this area: young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).<br \/>\nA substantial body of research into outdoor and nature-based learning exists, yet very little concerns the opinions of young people with SEND. Her work explores how young people with SEND perceive school-led nature-based learning and whether they feel these experiences are meaningful or beneficial.
