Candidates are not required to be in Milton Keynes 5 days a week. Frequency will be agreed with line manager. Flexible and Home working will be considered. Full-time, part time would be considered

The University has recently made considerable investment in the development of policing teaching, research and scholarship. The candidate(s) are joining at an exciting time, as we expand our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in this area that will be delivered nationally.

As part of our ongoing expansion we are looking to appoint several fixed-term (Two years) Lecturer posts. The roles will:

Contribute to our developing policing degree programmes by authoring module material and playing a leadership role by chairing one or more of our module teams;
Help develop and maintain strong links with police organisations nationally and internationally;
Conduct research and/or scholarship which will contribute to the programme of work and enhance the profile of the Centre for Policing Research and Learning, Department and Faculty.
