Accessibility statement
Our sport and fitness qualifications are underpinned by strong scientific research that has a world-class reputation.
Not only will you gain detailed understanding of the subject but you’ll also develop communication and analytical skills boosting your career prospects.
From honours degrees to diplomas and certificates, throughout your studies you’ll apply science and theory to practice: reflecting on case studies or real and potential work situations. Drawing on video, text and online materials, you will focus on the all-round physical and psychological needs of sports participants or exercise clients.
Some students use our BSc (Hons) Sport, Fitness and Coaching qualification as a route into teaching physical education (for which you’ll also need GCSEs in English, mathematics and possibly science, and postgraduate training).
Unbelievable experience, loved every minute of it.
