Dr Clare Horáčková is a Lecturer and Research Assistant in the School of Languages and Applied Linguistics at the Open University in the United Kingdom. Her teaching and research interests are in translation and cultural identity. She is currently engaged in several projects exploring the doctoral and postdoctoral experience in a number of contexts, and is particularly interested in the experience of underrepresented groups in and beyond higher education.
