Dr Inma Álvarez is the Director of Postgraduate Studies at the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies at the Open University in the United Kingdom. Her research and publications are multidisciplinary and include a focus on teacher identity and professional development, the links between the performance of language(s) and culture(s) and the arts in different contexts and practices. She is currently interested in the employability and early career of doctoral researchers.
