Lisa is a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Business and Employability Lead for the Manchester Fashion Institute at Manchester Metropolitan University. In addition to teaching in these areas, Lisa is responsible for the development of employability strategy including curriculum design.
With a strong fashion industry background, her research focusses on responsible business practice and the development of employability skills. She is passionate about developing student led research in a quest to better understand their approach to employability.
Alongside a strong understanding of current and future roles, working closely with the fashion industry developing partnerships, collaborations, placements, and work experience opportunities is a key part of Lisa’s responsibilities.
Through development of employability skills to support a long and successful career in the fashion industry, Lisa’s philosophy is to inspire students to always be the best version of themselves.
