Lydia Lauder is a Quality Manager at the Careers and Employability Services at the Open University.  Her professional and research interests include quality assurance, professional development and identity and evidence-based practice.  She combines her background in pure and applied science with over 20 years’ experience in the field of careers guidance working across adult and community, further and higher education and public sector careers provision.  She represents the Training, Research and Sector Development constituency on the Career Development Institute’s Professional Standards Committee.
