Go Wales Employability Advisor: The Open University in Wales

Ros Davis works on the GO Wales programme. Her role is to find short work experience opportunities for students who are under twenty-five.  To be eligible for GO Wales, students must fit one or more of the following criteria:

• From a Black and/or Minority Ethnic background
• Have a work limiting health condition
• Have a disability
• Have childcare/care responsibilities
• Be a care leaver
• Be estranged from your family
• Be from a low HE participation neighbourhood

Ros has been working on the GO Wales programme for almost three years.  Prior to this role she spent many years doing community development work in deprived neighbourhoods.
