Sarah Carnegie

Lecturer: Newcastle University Business School

Sarah’s initial career was in HR&D Consultancy, including international projects in locations including Bermuda, UAE, Ukraine, Romania and Hungary.  While still undertaking project work she completed her MA in Human Resource Management at Newcastle University Business School and the following year was invited to deliver two guest lectures.  In subsequent years Sarah was asked to deliver teaching across various modules and in 20I5 joined the faculty at the Business School.  Sarah teaches on various undergraduate and post-graduate modules, primarily related to human resource management and management consultancy.  She has been the Deputy Degree Programme Director for Business Management and is now the Strategic Lead for Employability and Enterprise.  Sarah’s research interests relate to the value of experiential learning and employability of graduates.  She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development [CIPD] and current Co-Chair of the CIPD North East of England Branch Committee.
