Dr Sally Hayes

Director (Students), The Open University

In her role as Director (Students) Dr Sally Hayes is responsible for working with colleagues across the Open University to enable them to do all they can to improve students’ outcomes, including employability.  As an academic she has worked primarily with students at different academic levels within nursing and other health-related professions across pre- and post-registration education.  She completed her Doctorate in 2013 which examined discourses surrounding educational standards in nursing, and is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
