Liz Moody

Liz Moody

Liz is an expert facilitator who has worked with senior leaders and boards to set strategic directions and plan major change programmes. She has 25 years’ experience as a manager in the private sector, education and voluntary organisations. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has has an MBA plus postgrad qualifications in marketing from the CIM, IDM and is a trained management coach. Viki Little

Viki is the Programme Manager for Executive Education with responsibility for the operational, contractual, financial and relationship management of projects, clients and partnerships. Viki has worked in the Faculty of Business and Law for 5 years, having spent the previous 20 years as a Partnership Manager in OU Worldwide, managing a range of the University’s international partnerships in Africa, Asia, Australasia and the USA. Roma Duggan

Roma has been Executive Education’s Project Manager since 2016 where she works closely with clients to plan and organise the design, authoring and production of projects. Roma has been with the Open University since 2006 and has gathered extensive experience in module development and the production process of CPD courses. She has a first-class honors degree in Business Information Systems together with the APM certificate in project management.

Hayley Bamber

Hayley is a Client Development Coordinator, supporting both Executive Education’s suite of CPD courses and a variety of client projects. She has been with the Open University since July 2007 working in the Faculty of Education and OU Business School, before joining the Executive Education in 2013. Hayley has also worked in other areas of education including Milton Keynes Local Authority, Adult Continuing Education and secondary schools in both Northampton and Milton Keynes

Elayne Pryde

Elayne Pryde

Elayne is a Client Development Coordinator and also PA to Executive Education Director, Liz Moody. She has been with the OU Business School since July 2009 where she was part of the original ELDAS project before it evolved into the Executive Education team of today. Hilary is a senior lecturer with extensive experience of curriculum development and international new business creation. She is currently focussed on leading the academic development of a micro-credential around managing change and organisation development in our digital era, and is also leading the academic development of an extensive suite of CPD courses responding to our future of work skills requirements.

Mike is Associate Director of Learning for OUBS. He joined the Business School in 1997 and between 1998 and 2003 he was closely involved with the design and development of The School's BA (Hons) in Business Studies programme. Simon became Professor of Law at the Open University in December 2015. He also served as Director of Citizenship & Governance Research in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He is Emeritus Professor of Jurisprudence, Queen’s University, Belfast. Andrew is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence (AI), at The Open University's School of Languages and Applied Linguistics. Andrew's work revolves around modelling social and cultural features of communication and action between agents (natural and/or artificial), utilising a range of AI techniques.

Dr Rasha Kassem

Rasha is a Senior Lecturer in FBL, a member of CPRL, a Certified Fraud Examiner, Cifas consultant and member of both the Cross Sector Counter Fraud Profession Board at the Cabinet Office, and the ACFE Fraud Advisory Council. She has over sixteen years experience of teaching and researching Fraud, Financial Crime, Forensic Accounting, Corporate Governance, Audit, and Business Ethics in numerous UK universities and in Egypt. Rasha’s research tackles societal and business issues such as accountability and the role of various stakeholders in countering fraud, including auditors, law enforcement, anti-fraud professionals, and regulators. Over the past three years, she has been working closely with law enforcement, regulators, and Cifas to develop online fraud courses and engage in anti-fraud research that enhance the skills of fraud investigators, anti-fraud professionals, and law enforcement in countering fraud (Fraud Investigation Online Course - FutureLearn).

Dr Sarah Bloomfield

Sarah is a Lecturer in the Department of People and Organisation within The Open University Business School. Sarah has extensive experience of teaching business and management studies across all academic levels. Sarah has particular expertise within the area of degree apprenticeships, and how individual and collective effectiveness can be improved in the workplace given that each work situation is unique. Sarah’s other main area of academic focus relates to how organisational contradictions are lived, and the impact those contradictions have on leadership, behaviour and organisation. Gary Bandy

Gary is a chartered public finance accountant and author of Financial Management and Accounting in the Public Sector. He worked in government finance for 20 years before becoming an independent consultant and teacher. Gary advises organisations in the charity sector, education, policing, local government and the private sector and co-developed the FutureLearn course managing public money. Waqās Ahmed

Waqās is considered a world authority on multidisciplinary thinking and versatility and works with organisations across various sectors to integrate such approaches into their strategies and operations. His ideas arise from extensive research as well as his own exceptionally diverse academic and professional background. Waqās is the author of the internationally acclaimed book The Polymath and is founder of the DaVinci Network.

David Jones

David is Director and founder of HJT Training and a visiting fellow within the Open University Law School. He is also working closely with Executive Education lending his expertise in immigration law to the development of a suite of short courses and CPD in that area. David is an accomplished immigration and human rights practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience. Mark Symes

Mark is a Director of HJT Training and a visiting fellow within the Open University Law School. He is also working closely with Executive Education lending his expertise in immigration law to the development of a suite of short courses and CPD in that area. Mark deals with work ranging from business immigration and entry clearance representations and appeals, to refugee and criminal deportation cases. He is one of the elite top ranked barristers for immigration in Chambers UK 2021 and the Legal 500 2021 and is appointed to the Equality and Human Rights Commission's preferred Panel of Counsel (Panel A). Connect with Mark on LinkedIn
