PRARI is a health-focused social policy research project in partnership with the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

An Open Access publication about the PRARI-SADC research is being launched in London on 8 July.

Organised by the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) with the support of Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) Impact Initiative, the publication is part of a special issue of the IDS’ Bulletin on research–policy partnerships for impact.

PRARI Principal Investigator Professor Nicola Yeates of The Open University will take part in a panel event with a senior official in the SADC Secretariat.

A ministerial representative from the Ethiopian government will participate in the day’s events along with the Department for International Develoment’s Policy Research Director and ESRC’s Research Director.
