The new Sustainable Development Goals will require inclusive and innovation-based growth. As the OU is renowned for its interdisciplinary international development research in this area, and is keen to attract further outstanding students, we are delighted to be able to offer four full-time funded PhD studentships lasting three years with an approximate annual stipend of £13,863.
The new studentships are in International Development and Inclusive Innovation. Our understanding of innovation goes beyond technical solutions to include social, political and financial innovations, as well as the interconnections between them. Within this broad agenda, however, our research focuses on:
The closing date for applications is 15 July 2015, and the studentships will start in October 2015 or February 2016. Successful applicants will be required to live close to the university campus in Milton Keynes.
