Eligibility to work

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

There are legal restrictions on who may undertake employment in the United Kingdom. However, normally need to be sponsored by a UK employer and granted permission to stay in the UK by the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI), in order to undertake employment with the sponsoring employer. Whilst we welcome applications regardless of nationality, you will need to ensure that the Visa pathway you intend to use is suitable for your circumstances and, in the case of sponsorship, the role itself is one that will grant you the necessary points and eligibility. If you arrived in the UK after 1st January 2021 can you please inform the Applications Team by e-mail AL-Applications@open.ac.uk
