Research interests: Current research interests centre on professional identity in statutory social work roles, the development of evidence-based practice for social work including the development of innovative research methodologies, methods for social work research and research informed practice by practitioners. Additional interest lies in the history of social work and using lessons from the past to inform current and future practice.

Why I became a Data Champion: I am particularly keen to encourage others to store and use data so that it can be of benefit to others. I am especially interested to enable practitioners to engage in research and want to afford this opportunity for all nation staff.
