Changes to how you can access online newspapers

Following a review of our newspaper collections we have added to the online library a new database called InfoTrac Newsstand – providing access to more than 2,300 major world newspapers, and thousands of images, radio and TV broadcasts and transcripts.

This has been added to the library collection to complement our Nexis UK database, which has the full text of newspapers and other news sources worldwide. Both of these newspaper archives can be found on the news sources page on the Library website, along with a host of other sources.

Our access to the database NewsBank will expire at the end of December 2018. If you have been using this to access online newspapers in the past, please use Nexis UK or InfoTrac Newsstand in the future.
