Week beginning July 1st

  • Tuesday 2nd –  Four bays of stock on the 1st floor will move to their new home. The area will remain open but there may be noise disruption. Overnight the seven shelving bays on the 1st floor will be removed after hours to avoid noise disruption.
  • Wednesday 3rd – PCs, Microfiche and DVD player will move from the ground  to the 1st floor. There will be no PC access that day.
  • Tuesday – Thursday – the stock on the ground floor rolling stack and shelving will be removed. There may be some noise distruption.

Week beginning July 15th

Stock on the ground floor will be condensed onto 12 bays of shelving. This needs to be complete by the end of the week, likely to start Thursday.

Week beginning July 22nd

  • Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th – The majority of the existing furniture on the ground floor will exit the building. 12 bays of shelving and some of the cabinates will remain. Some soft seating will move to The Park.
  • Thursday 25th & Friday 26th – The majority of the new furniture will arrive and be installed. Some will require building in the atrium as it arrives in sections to get through the doors.
