Diverse voices

This is a collection of databases, websites and directories which explicitly seek to provide access to writers and resources from diverse groups who are typically under-represented in commercial publications. Authors included in this collection have characteristics and experiences that have contributed to their voices being marginalised, such as:

  • Disability
  • Gender or gender identity
  • Sexual orientation
  • Race, colour, caste, nationality, ethnic or national origin
  • Geographical location

Explore these resources to broaden your research, to understand new perspectives on your area of study, and to discover views that are representative of the world we live in.

This is not an exhaustive list of resources. If you would like to suggest more sources that highlight diverse voices, please fill out this form.
