Accessibility is at the forefront of The Open University’s mission to be ‘open to all’ which is why more disabled students choose the OU than any other UK university.

Over 37,000 students declaring a disability studied with us in 2021/22.

We have a wealth of experience in helping students with disabilities get the most out of their studies including a local team of experts right here in Belfast.

Below are two videos that help breakdown the support we offer. One highlights the wide range of support we can offer students with a disability and the other explains the process of applying for Disabled Students Allowance from Student Finance Northern Ireland (SFNI).
